Can I return to my hotel in Villa de Leyva the same day?

Yes. If you already have a hotel in Villa de Leyva, you can enjoy the day here and return there in the evening. Your house reservation includes the overnight stay, so you have the right to stay the night here too. The house reservation price is the same whether you stay or leave. Confirm arrival and departure times before booking.
